Going by what we’ve learned about Gavin, plus the effect Jack has on hacks, all I can picture is Crystal popping out and instructing Jack to hug Gavin, haha.
Of course the repercussions could be fatal for Jack seeing as he’s kind of starting to look like shit. (The Ultimate Sacrifice?! haha)

Gavin doesn’t need to try, he just needs to stall. Until Jack gives in. Either his brain rejects the hack and Jack’s head pops like a balloon, or Jack’s body’s natural survival instinct causes the hack proofing to stop. And since Gavin can’t actually take damage… he’s unstoppable. All he needs to do is avoid prolongued contact with Jack and he wins. Either by exploded head or by hacked to death.
