Depending on how deep that spike is, it didn’t probably pierce his heart but his pulmonary trunk or his left pulmonary arteries. Fortunately there a little bit of lung covering the pulmonary trunk where he was pierced.

So yeah, he’s right: If he takes it out, he’ll bleed to death, probably. If it’s not deep enough, however, it’s just his lung pierced. Not THAT problematic.

You know I had a dream about this comic…no really I did. Jack was fighting Gavin and I told some random people to shoot Gavin, thinking that it won’t work. But it could distract him enough to let Jack win. Well it worked and Gavin went down. Yeah… It was odd.
