It is 4 in the morning and my sleep-deprived brain can’t handle the two-faced red/blue weirdness of that first panel.

Angel’s quick on the uptake. This is going to end badly.

Holy dang the quality of the art is really showcased in here.
Definitely gonna see some sad stuff in the next few panels. I’m excisted and also sad at the same time!

Odd as it is to say, it’s nice to see a kid rush to his death for a good reason. Most of the time fiction has the kids come out of hiding for the dumbest possible things, but risking death rather than hearing your dog burn is pretty heroic. Vive le chien!

I agree with the other guys, especially Geddian. It’s the worst when a character dies by being an idiot, and media just loves doing that to children. I know that i would probably be doing the same thing in Miles’s situation, and despite the fact that he’s going to die, I feel strangely refreshed. Thanks (kinda), Jamie.

Right here is the perfect website for anybody who would like to understand
this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really would want to…HaHa).
You definitely put a brand new spin on a subject that’s
been written about for a long time. Wonderful stuff, just great!

Um, running back into a burning house to save a pet IS being an idiot. If he had been running in to save Jack, that would have been heroic. As it is, the only award Miles deserves is a Darwin Award.
If Miles had obeyed his father, he’d still be alive.
There is another possibility. Miles might have been kidnapped by the assasins.

@Speedy – To a child, a pet is as much a part of their family as any person is. I know mine was.
