The best part is I can just hear Gavin’s cold voice saying this and Crystal’s terrified plea, too. Way to draw the audience in, Jamie. Can’t wait til Monday.
I can almost hear “Bodies hit the Floor” by Drowning Pool.
Sadly Bodies hit the Roof lacks some of the poetry but still, it works. Very excellent page Jaime, think we all knew somethign like this would be happening.
max should’ve known there is a good reason no one had ever laid a finger on gavin. besides the fact that he’s usually in space. If Max survives this he will have learned some valuable information on how NOT to defeat gavin! their best bet is getting some information out of Grin, I think.
Oh don’t worry, Max will be fine. That crunching sound is simply him cracking his fists, getting ready to punch Gavin so hard that the hologram explodes. Yeah, that’s it.
Oh, wait, no, that’s his neck. Well, bye Max! See you next time! And by next time I mean never again!

I’m pretty sure that’s his nose getting crushed against the ceiling, judging from the panel. I mean, it could be his neck snapping, considering the force with which his face was introduced to the ceiling, but looking at what people – especially Max – can take in this comic, I wouldn’t count him out until at least next update.
