In panel, er, 5 I guess, the sound effect that comes to mind is something like “bouw!” It was in a Mario game, can’t remember which one. Maybe it was the sound that played when you struck Bowser in SMW. Anyway, Eyebrows really needs to learn to brush his teeth. And I wonder if Jack is just practicing ambidexterity? Though it probably does murder on his hand-writing. I would know, as . . . I AM left-handed!
I think that by the end of this arc, Jack is gonna throw a tanker or something at Max.

I hope you don’t hate me for pointing this out but, in the last 5 or 6 comics you’ve made A LOT of FanFic-able material. XD Also you made some [accidental, I think] fanservice… Fans won’t take long before starting to make fanfics. And also, don’t panic if they start making female/female or male/male pairings. xD It just means your comic is getting popular. XD Be happy about that and try to not think about the weird pairings your fans might come up with.
It’s only natural when you start developing some relationships between your characters.
Back from the spooky fanfic dimension, your comic’s really becoming better and better as time goes by, really. I’d like to fast forward the time so i can read more and more. xD Keep up the great work.
(By the way, do you know how your reader demographics are? Age, gender, etc. I couldn’t guess, I think…)

Oh and chirigami , I don’t really have any idea about the demographic for the comic, so your guess is as good as mine.
I’ve been faintly aware about FanFic-ness, but if it’s a result from developing the characters then that’s just how it is, I guess.

In panels like 5 in comics, when a character notices something like another person looking at them (and there’s those three little lines), I always automatically hear “ding”-ish sound in my head.
For more intense “shock” moments, such as when a character has just been told something completely outrageous (and when the three lines are now connected by curved lines making it look somewhat like a cartoony crown), I hear a gunshot-esque bang.
I’m weird.
