Heads up guys: I’m going to be moving interstate next week, and due to the way things are right now I’ll be spending a couple weeks in a hotel to make sure I’m not bringing anything into the state. After that I’ll be starting a new animation gig almost right way, so things are gonna be busy!
Because of that I’m afraid I have to put the comic on a shot hiatus until I can get myself settled and set up again. Hopefully I wont be gone too long!

The move went pretty well, but then I started a big job and almost two weeks into it I got super sick (not covid, thankfully) and only just really recovered this week. I’m hoping to have the comic back up and running as soon as I can.

I followed this comic years ago, but lost the link in a computer crash. Just found it again on a thumb drive file listing my old favorite urls. Glad to see new pages are coming out sporadically.

dude, so thrilled you have made so much progress. i was a huge fan years ago, and just checked in a few weeks ago on a whim. i am ECSTATIC to see so many new pages! really really hope to see more, but frankly i can die happy now…

I read this ages ago, I was surprised there were more pages and a bit disappointed that it’s on hiatus again. This is a nice comic, well drawn, funny, dramatic and creative. I hope you come back to it, but I’m sure whatever you’re doing is of high quality too.

I started reading this comic back in like 2010 and it’s one of the ones i’ve stuck around for the longest. The incredible art improvement, the fun style, the goofy sense of humor, the shocking moments of seriousness… this whole story is a gem that I’m glad i found.
Here’s hoping it continues someday. I’ve been here 12 years and I’m more than willing to wait.

I dont know the words to say that could magically get this updating again, and I just really wish it would. Mostly because there’s just nowhere else to find something with this kind of spirit and soul in it. Its just a lovely webcomic that felt fresh and looking back at it, its still marvelous. I found this back in 20010 or so, just started discovering webcomics. And I’m 25 now, and still look back to this fondly. I missed it so much years ago in my own D&D campaign I made NPC’s based on Max and Crystal. Hope you’re well and hope this can fill you with joy

Oh man, is it really two years already? That’s awful! I’m still around, I’ve been working in the animation industry and got super burnt out when it came to doing personal art.

Okay,that`s a relief to read that you`re okay. And even better that you don`t have abandonded this comic,this mixture of hillarious action,great humor and a very interesting story is to good to become another “Kukuburi”.I know how hard it can be to get back in the saddle to do some art when life,work and all the other stuff that happens consume so much of you that there is no time to do anything(or if there is time you are to burnt out to do anything) But i wish you would start again,even in little steps,this comic doesn`t need effectful coloring(as good as it looks),it was always the story,the action and the laughs,so why not change back to black and white for a while(coloring is time consuming as fuck),this comic would also work if you draw it with crayons!

HE’S ALIVE!!!! I care more about one of my fave authors being happy and healthy than reading the fancy series I love.
Take your time dude, as much as I miss this fancy Story If we can survive 2 years of no update and a couple hiatus’s I’d say you’ve got a fanbase for life. Just wrap up an arc before there’s another Hiatus, please? I want to see Jack whoop his extended families collective butts! if it’s in black and white, crayon or stick figures the quality of your writing will carry this adventure.

Man, I just checked on this after five years. Lots of updates I missed. Glad to hear you’re still doing well. Burnout hits all of us (as my many dead fanfics can attest to). Just been binging this story again, definitely remains super cool.
