(inhale) FLASH-BACK ARC!!! Seriously, though? I think they’re only mentally there. The whole black sphere thing is probably just an exstention of whatever ability he has that makes him hack-proof. The fact that the girls are looking at the events that undoubtedly led up to the death of Jack’s big brother is a just a combination of that ability and Jack reliving the trauma of his brother’s death due to mental issues. That’s not to say that Jack’s nuts, just that he’s gone through an insane amount of insanity. And yes, I meant to say it that way.
