I see this as the moment that Grin and the other guy say “screw you Gavin” and help Max out. Nice to see that they fixed him up. Maybe that was Grin’s doing as a way of saying “I quit”?

Seems Max is fully expecting to meet his end on his rescue mission.
Jamie’s sure making it look like Max has no way out of this.
And yet…an unexpected twist this Friday?
(Or maybe Grin’ll just finish off Max like she was ordered to, if in a somewhat unexpected way.)
