Goddamn Max looks badass when he’s all disheveled and beatup and injured and shit. I do believe he’s at the point where a cigar and sunglasses would only serve to detract from his own natural cool factor. That’s a feat right there.
Also, wtf is up with that bruise coming out of his shirt. How can he have anything close to the level of mobility required for his work when his torso appears to be a solid mass of internal bleeding? He needs to start hanging out with John McClane later. They could swap stories.
Hehe, battle damage will do that. Max got the living daylight beaten out of him, broke at the very least a few rids, looks like a blueberry under his shirt from all the bruising and then just walked out of the medical area after only taking some basic medication.
Max has all this energy and strength, and now he’s got a reason to really focus it on something without being all light and witty. I get the feeling he’s about tear the hacker base apart with his bare hands.
How much do you want to bet that Gavin has all this planned. Knew what Craig would do, and from there Jack, and knew that Max would stoped at nothing to get Crystal back. He seems like the type of villian to know all that, and have plans for just that sort of situation. What those plans are, is anyones guess.
Facepuncher will now demonstrate his Saiyan-like resilience by using his injury to become far stronger than before. When he finds the hacker, he’ll punch em so hard that they feel it back at the beginning of this comic! :p
