“When you become more than human, new rules apply”
Did anybody else see this as a large reveal?
First of all, we can infer that Gavin is no longer human, but once was. This rules out living code, but does not rule out immortality or higher cognitive functioning than humans.
Also, I have a guess on Gavin’s goal now, he wishes to rule everything fairly.
He probably has infinite power, he is controlling others with this power with the goal of decreasing the suffering of others, and he is trying to convince M.I. to lay off in the least damaging and most political way possible that is still efficient.
In my opinion, these all point towards the facts the he is ‘up to something’, but also that he is concerned about the well-being of people who cannot hack.
Therefore, it seams logical for me, to guess that he wants to control everything in a god-like fashion, but also be appreciate by his subordinates.
I’m guessing he wants to improve humanity in some way as well.
That or he has a grand master plan up his sleeve that he is just hiding really well for the opportune moment.
I finally got what was bothering me so much about Max’s twitter, he use correct grammar and punctuation (unlike me). He seems like the kind of guy would write in all caps.
Or, maybe he’s one of those people who hate incorrect grammar and will come through the inter webs and face punch the offenders of proper English.
Now,I’ve become quite afraid of writing something wrong!
I wonder if he would consider not writing “arse” as just wrong…
Aniway, how exactly is Gavin supposed to be pronounced? Is it sorta like “Kevin” or is it “Gah-veen”?
I rather like how Gavin phrased the statement by saying new rules apply, rather than that old rules no longer apply. This seems to say that while Gavin may be free of certain restrictions of the universe, he may very well have some new and troublesome concerns he needs to keep in mind.
See, this is why vampires who burn up in the sun, dust by staking and can’t cross running water are cooler than sparkly, perfect venom gems.

So Gavin has a different philosophy. He has an understanding of society in general, he just has different views than the other peoples.

Great!
Another Fancy page, and it’s getting even Fancier!
Those are some interesting points, Swot!
And Gavin is becoming cooler with each passing page. Glad we get to see more and more of his nature.
Keep up the excellent work, Jamie! 🙂

I’d have to disagree with you there Crystal, unless you meant morally. Gavin is superawesome.
