Jack has theories about his immunity, but can’t be sure.
It was really hot yesterday so I thought I’d send off summer by doing some kinda big beach picture but then I didn’t so now it’s like, a small one?
Probably the closest thing I’ll get to fan-service. whoops I mean The most fan-service I’ve ever done.

Sweet page, and on the vote incentive, I’m pretty sure that IS fan-service
April 5th, 2010 at 4:26 pm
dude this comic is epic and maybe he wants us to think its not fan-service to keep his mind guilt free for actually making a fan-service
April 5th, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Fan-service is a heavy burden to bear. *single tear*
April 5th, 2010 at 5:00 pm
my tip for the two guys for future fights with him…dont look back
April 5th, 2010 at 9:36 pm
I like.
April 5th, 2010 at 9:50 pm
Max shirtless was not fanservice. You know what would really be fanservice? (Place suggestive eyebrows emote here)
April 5th, 2010 at 10:56 pm
why isn’t she showing us her titties?
April 5th, 2010 at 11:05 pm
Actual Comic: Nothing says “cool” like being able to carry on a conversation while beating people up, right? The one thing that really caught my attention, though, is that Jack appears to have a nose bleed in the last panel. I normally try not to read too far into things, but I don’t recall him getting hit in the face (the cross-hatching on his clothing does suggest that he got a little roughed up, though). Is it an innocent nose bleed? Or is his brain melting? Guess I’ll find out next time. Part of what has me wondering is Max’s raised eyebrows: Surprise, or something else?
I think that the pacing in this comic is pretty good. Perhaps showing a pile of unconscious hackers in the background of the final panel would more clearly establish that the fight is over, but that would have been a lot more work, so I suppose I can infer that much. 😉
Fan Service Comic: Crystal really doesn’t go anywhere without that scarf, huh? And Max seems to have not quite grasped the basics of volley ball. Also: It is sad that Crystal lost half of her ice cream.
April 5th, 2010 at 11:12 pm
Lol. Max gets Facepunched by a volley ball while trying to punch said volleyball. Win.
April 6th, 2010 at 12:01 am
max vs. volleyball PWND!
Anyway, am I the only one noticing the expressions on hacker’s faces? The hacker on the right in panel two is hilarious. And as for the hackers flying by in the same panel just adds to the hilarity. And finally, kudos for Max’s face in the first panel.
Yoshi out!
April 6th, 2010 at 12:06 am
(side note) shouldn’t there be a comma in the second panel somewhere?
April 6th, 2010 at 12:12 am
Naw, the hacker was panicing and talking without breaths.
April 6th, 2010 at 12:26 am
haha max and volley ball. His one weakness.
I also think a knee to the jaw is the most painful moment you’ve drawn.
April 6th, 2010 at 1:43 am
… now I’m wondering what Max’s parents are like (and I’m still thinking the non-hackible jack has something to do with his brother)
April 6th, 2010 at 5:12 am
Max getting hit in the face with a volleyball made my day.
April 6th, 2010 at 5:52 am
Lol @ captain whosit, now I can’t look at that final panel without thinking about a Fancy bl manga of some sort
April 6th, 2010 at 8:18 am
Hooray for fan service!
April 6th, 2010 at 10:16 am
…all I can say about the incentive picture is that the background wins the attention. Though, Crystal, though fan servicy, she looks cute in the picture. she gets a hug for it. only a hug.
and something bothers me about this page…oh yeah, not enough broken masks
April 6th, 2010 at 10:36 am
Wellp, I finished reading this from start to finish, finally. =P
Anyhowser, I think I used that line in a game once. It went something like:
“I’ll charge this up, and then — CRAP! That dude’s looking at us! RU–”
Didn’t end well. For me, or him. On a speech note, awesome comic! Facepunching and Mindhack resisting. Oh, and Homeschool failing, lol. =D
April 6th, 2010 at 4:41 pm
Yay for buttkickery!
Also, what is that in the background of the incentive pic by Max’s waist…it’s a bit distracting; I can’t tell if those are just little sand mounds or an odd…growth…
April 6th, 2010 at 11:38 pm
They are cords from his swimpants. But yeah, I thought it was some offcolor bulge at first too.
April 7th, 2010 at 1:19 am
OK I’M STILL WAITING ON THE PAGE WHERE MAX AND CRYSTAL HAVE A LOVE SCENE JAMIE >:C Really though, I’m waiting…
April 8th, 2010 at 10:22 am
Obviously, Jack runs Linux.
April 9th, 2010 at 1:12 am
I’m gonna hold out for some Facepuncher fanservice. and by fanservice, I mean FANSERVICE.
:’D
