Irony, eh? Runs into a ex-hacker and it’s just a casual greeting.

Frankie’s alive! π

I sense a recurring character appearance.
If he’s a former hacker, he still knows a little of how to hack… which means MI could use knowledge like his.
The fact that he hasn’t been killed off also potentially means that he’ll be a target.
Either that or I’m speculating so far I’m wearing binocular goggles and looking into a telescope to see my own point.

The hackers probably hacked his knowledge of hacking right out of his brain along with anything he knew about them so he wouldn’t be a liability if they left him alive. either that or hacked him into a sleeper agent type thing, waiting for the right moment for the programming to kick in.

Frankie totally has the hots for Jack. XD juuuust kiddin.
September 9th, 2009 at 10:24 pm
…also, I honestly thought Frankie was a girl in the first three panels. My first thought was ‘Whee, another girl for Jack to weird out and/or indirectly cause pain to.’
…don’t blame me, it’s not my fault Jamie draws cute guys.

Oh man, I’ll have to find a way to uncute Frankie so there is no more confusion.
September 10th, 2009 at 1:36 pm

Oh sure, if you want to do the *obvious* thing!

It’s not really just Frankie. Max is cute in the ‘Shyeah I know I’m great’ kinda self-assured way. Also, eyebrows.
Whereas Jack has the mildly angsty main character look down perfect. Hell, dress him in a black jacket with a fur collar and he’d be Squall from Final Fantasy 8. ‘Cept instead of his nanny turning into a witch, his mother simply throws knives at him.
No real reason to change up Frankie’s style for that. Heck, it might even work out to your advantage, humor-wise!
…or not. S’your comic.
