Niiiiice. Not smart on the timing there, Angel, but nice hit.
I’m surprised at the whole “step away” thing though. If this is a real assassin, and not just training, they could probably kill Angel in about 2 seconds. Which is why she should have waited until Jack was on approach or something. Unless they’re trying to capture Angel for her ephemeral damsel-in-distress qualities again?

Y’know, in hindsight—with Jack’s mother’s past with the assassins (who primarily fight with throwing knives), and what happened to Miles, it’s poignant that she was so obsessive about training him specifically to dodge and catch thrown knives. That’s been a running theme since she was first introduced, and it’s really interesting to see how that’s developed into such a major hint at how afraid for him she really is.
