Actually, I think it’s just the cerebral hemorrhage finally getting to him. Because we can’t just sit around and talk till the police arrive, it’s likely Jack will faint and we will get a time-skip to move the plot forward. That, or Jack gets weaker and we get a slide show fast forward with important picture snippets.
Heads up, missing an apostrophe in “no one’s comfortable”. Anyway, yeah, a mind wipe sounds pretty harsh. I was under the impression Gavin was the source of all that hack magic stuff- and if not, how come the MI hasn’t been using it? (OR HAVE THEY?!)

While I’m definately not for wipeing peoples minds (I consider mental alteration, particularly those that might change aspects of who someone is, to be the ultimate violation one can inflict.) I would like you to define what the right thing is. I assume it does not involve the mindwipe or the allowing of hackers to rampage. But, if you have an idea, I’ll listen.
So, the evil hacker boss dude has been downloading him self in to Jack Canon this entire time and is only just now starting to work out how to take over his bodily functions.
That, and if I were Gavin, I’d possess either Angel or Crystal over Canon because it’s easier than going after the hack-proof guy. And I doubt that Jack could punch out the love interest if she grabbed the spike and attempting to stab him to death (as it didn’t poof when he touched it, it would affect his inner organs most severely).
Or better yet, just possess Crystal. Seeing as she’s the only functioning combatant left, everyone would he helpless as she systematically snapped their necks off with her uber-scarf. Just saying- there are more logical decisions than going after the guy you can’t affect in the first place.
@Mcnugget: He’s definitely a mind wiped something. His parents probably know exactly what. I’m betting the story behind this is why they left MI in the first place.

@Franpa – problems with that logic
1. Gavin came to prefer the inorganic existence that he was. Why would he stoop to returning to the mortal coil? It weaken his God Mode severely.
2. Jack is Hack-Proof – if they can’t straight up erase his mind into jello, how would Gavin be able to alter it?
