I’m kinda seeing Max as a bit heartless right now. Grin is totally spilling her guts to him, trying to help him out, giving him warnings and stuffz, and Max is just “Pfft, outta mah way!”

That’s the way Max is though. He’s a punch-first-ask-questions-later kind of guy. And he feels bad because he wasn’t able stop the hackers from stealing his partner or cutting off the leg of one of his friends. That’s rough. I hope Max doesn’t die because I really like him as a character.

I’m kinda surprised Frankie never tried to say anything as reinforcement for Grin. Definitely looks like Max is a dead man walking, unless a certain deus ex machina decides to show up…

I can’t see him dying really, not at this point, but he’s obviously going to be taking a lot more damage. My prediction: permanent spine damage.

I wanna see Max at least get in a few good shots against Gavin personally. I know Jack’ll probably be the one to finish it but still.
And you can’t blame him for blowing off Grin. The last time they met she and her crew DID kinda kill a lot of MI agents and nearly kill Caesar.

1. Heartless attitude
2. Ignoring the the caring woman’s heartfelt plee
3. He just won a nearly impossible fight against a bunch of minions
4. He’s tired

-shrug- All depends on circumstance. If Max just walks in and makes an assault on Gavin, I see a repeat of Hack: Steel Casket, followed by Hack: Instant Death. And much as Max was sure, I don’t think he can dodge it.
That said, only one of dozens of possible outcomes.
