I guess Jack kept the broom in case, y’know, more dudes were on the ceiling?
By the way, the forum is super dead. That’s sad because I like forums. So I guess, I dunno, unless you guys suddenly start using it, i might just put it out of its misery? Seems that’s all I can do, really. I’m no forum doctor.

Huh… I guess I was right. He used the broom to unhack him.
October 4th, 2010 at 1:25 pm
Naw, the hackers leaving released the general, but he doesn’t know that.
October 4th, 2010 at 1:47 pm
Maybe he’ll use the broom to “clean up crime!” Ahahaha..no, that was lame.
Personally, I don’t use the forum because the comment board’s so much more convenient.
October 4th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
Wow. Instead of cleaning up crime, how ’bout ‘cleaning up your act.’
Badabing.
October 4th, 2010 at 2:13 pm
Do they not issue guns at MI? Or is Crystal’s grandfather so much of a badass he prefers to dual-wield combat knives?
October 4th, 2010 at 2:20 pm
the general may carry around combat knives, but jack’s so much of a badass he only needs a broom
October 4th, 2010 at 2:55 pm
Jack’s expression in the second panel = LOL
October 4th, 2010 at 4:16 pm
There needs to be a poster of the General from panel 2…aaaaaaaaand go.
October 4th, 2010 at 5:14 pm

October 5th, 2010 at 7:55 am

October 5th, 2010 at 10:50 am

October 5th, 2010 at 11:13 am
I thought Jamie was male. O_o
loving the comic, btw!
October 5th, 2010 at 1:01 pm
Jamie, dude, I love the comic, but your publishers suck. They sent me the damn paperback after I paid for a hard cover.
After a month of waiting for it to arrive -.-
October 5th, 2010 at 1:42 pm
What?! Thats crap! Have you emailed them about it? It’s out of my hands I’m afraid π
October 5th, 2010 at 7:21 pm
Love the comic! Been reading it for a long time! Unfortunately, due to me switching jobs, I sorta lost touch with it.
6 Months later, I get this urge to return here. And to my surprise, I find the comic is getting better and better! Gripping storyline, and fun to read! The artwork inspires a world of imagination as well!
Keep up the great work, Jamie! Never commented before, but today, I was forced to. π
October 6th, 2010 at 12:04 am
yeah i just did a random google search after the house episode and found this website haha. i may check out the comics now
October 6th, 2010 at 12:16 am
haha! wow, thanks, House!
October 6th, 2010 at 1:04 am
Riftblade mentioned it, but I hadn’t really thought too much about it. The fact is the comic has grown leagues beyond its’ humble beginnings. Not even playing the same sport anymore. That’s pretty impressive since it happened so seamlessly and the comic was fantastic from the start. One of the rare ones that can catch your interest on the first page.
October 6th, 2010 at 6:10 am
Indeed it has, Gangler!
I’m not sure if I’m mistaken or not, but has the artwork also been getting better? Somehow, it seems that there are more and more subtle textures and colors in the panels, and the character animations are getting better as well.
Jamie, you are doing an excellent job in catching character emotions on paper. A rare talent indeed! Keep at it! π
October 6th, 2010 at 8:59 am
You know, it sucks when you want to say something to compliment the author/artist, but everyone else has either already said it, or said something better… ah well.
October 6th, 2010 at 9:29 am
Oh wow, thanks guys! I’m not that great at taking compliments but thanks so much for your kind words, they mean a lot. π As for the art I’m always trying to improve and try out different things for different scenes (though I try not to make things TOO different)
October 6th, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Well, as long as the comic doesn’t lose it’s “Fancy Adventures” feel, you can do whatever you want. π
But to get to the comic: For someone who is as Uberly-powerful as Jack, he certainly doesn’t let it go to his head! Good to see that he’s still somewhat a normal kid. Guess that’s what makes him such an excellent hero! Who’s not somewhat fed-up with having unstoppable heroes?
As for Max: One of the BEST characters EVER! “Nuff said.

Hey Jamie,
Im a fan, dude. Read all the archives ect ect. Im adding this to the short list of comics i pull up every day before I start work.
Cheers

I absolutely love Jack’s expression in the second panel. The general pulls out his knives, and Jacks all “Holycrap!”
Brooms. From cleaning the floor to de-hackifying the guy stuck to the ceiling. They have a use for everything! I wonder if Jack could defeat Gavin by whacking him repeatedly with a broom…there’s an idea.
