Nnnnnot really fond of this page.
speaking of things I’m not fond of, the vote incentive for this weekend is what I intended to be a cover for the Jack Cannon book (still working on getting that made) but man I so don;t think its cover-worthy anymore.
SO! If your intrested in seeing it,

Oh dear.
Now the question is, is that more of Mrs. Cannon’s crazy training regiment, or actually the Hackers? o.O

half the school thinks you’re** dead
February 26th, 2010 at 3:58 pm

Johnny wins THE PRIZE.

I think I pooped my pants a little.
February 26th, 2010 at 4:18 pm
well, can’t blame Jack for being a little paranoid
February 27th, 2010 at 3:43 am
Eh, he took out about that many last time. As long as he moves fast enough to get them before they get him, no problem.
February 27th, 2010 at 5:23 am
He only got five last time. 🙂

Angel had better watch out or she might not be able to *un*-tie herself…
February 27th, 2010 at 10:49 am
Notice how they don’t have mouths?
I predict clones, or something like that.
February 27th, 2010 at 8:34 pm
I cant wait until Angel passes on that message from Jack.
As for the cover. Well it’s no christmas shark but it does have orange juice beams of light.
Oh also I thought the cord tied around Angel was a nice touch for what could have been a dull scene

@Swot: It’s probably just not worth the effort to draw that many mouths on characters who are so far away. You likely wouldn’t be able to make them out anyway. Notice how none of them really have arms, either.
And I’d have to agree on not being overly fond of the page. Just feels… off. Not terrible, obviously, but its far from the best page in the comic.
February 28th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
@Alexander: Yeah, good point. Although hacker clones would be very entertaining.
February 28th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
I predict that they will hack up ANOTHER JACK. This will in turn allow for HILARIOUSLY BAD DIALOGUE.
It’s entirely possible my entire mental state is hardwired to only think in movie cli- NICE TO MEET ME.
Alright it’s a certainty.

It`s good to see Angel again. I was thinking a while ago how it would be a shame if nothing happened there. Romance, painfully platonic friendship, the bond of respect between fellow warriors on the same battlefield, I`m interested to see where they go (The warrior one would be cool but I don`t think that`s gonna be it, though I hope she doesn`t turn into a damsel in distress type character.) It occurs to me reading this comic that I could have the pleasure of witnessing a truly rare sight within fiction (or really, real life too), the comfortably platonic relationship between male and female of the same age bracket. That would be fun.

…Angel is getting slowly more and more twisted into that wire…
I didn’t notice until I looked at the page again.
Heh.

Oh look, Lawn Gnomes.
