Hey whadya know eh? the first time (I believe) that a swear has ever been used in this comic, i think it gives it more impact, all those other words didn’t give the situations enough justice…..yeah

Yikes! Way to build up the tension!
This is waaaaay different from Jack’s previous fights (wham bam always winning) but I like that. I like it where he’s not just some superhero we all know will kick the other guy’s butt without any trouble
XD I keep waiting for Max Eyebrows to show up

@Sio:
I kind of agree. However, this time, Frankie is going straight for the vital points, and he has clearly superhuman speed and strenght, so maybe he IS stronger than most enemies Jack has fought. Also, I just reread the whole fight against the hackers. If you notice, they couldn’t even deal a blow to Jack, because, his mother said, they were amateurs. And they really were. I mean, they were hackers, but they sucked on combat, and they were human. Jack only won because he was smarter and quicker than them. This time, his enemy is way stronger.
Besides, I think this might be the typical “Demon inside an innocent person” situation. I mean, he doesn’t want to hurt him, because Frankie isn’t the one doing this… Well, I don’t know if Jack is like this because of that.
Lastly, we don’t know what Jack is scared of… I could fight sharp-teethed monsters, slime monsters, and much more stuff. But if I had to fight a regular Zombie I’d pee my pants. Maybe he’s scared of these things.
Anyways it’s good to see he’s not always winning easily. It would get boring like that.

@Chirigami
well, at this point, Jack thinks Frankie hacked himself. He pretty much promised his father that he would try to run away the next time he gets into a fight. Then add the DIIP and I guess it’s just sucks to be in Jack’s position. And from the looks of it, pain doesn’t effect Frankie, so beating the snot out of him is like bullying a fly.
All Jack needs is an idea to fix this mess.

No pain to means Jack is really going to hit him hard to stop him. Though if Max is still around now would be a good time to blindside him.

You know, this whole transformation thing probably wasn’t a spontaneous attack. Remember Gavin dropping Frankie into that pit? Why would he suddenly be released? Why would Frankie be awkwardly trying to talk to Jack and apologize all day? Why would he sit next to Jack in English?
I’m guessing that Gavin did some serious hacking on Frankie and sent him to the school as a kind of living monster bomb- something that he’d just have to set off when Frankie got close. Frankie probably knew something bad was going to happen to Jack when he was sent back, but had to go anyway under threat of something worse. With the being painfully transformed into a monster thing, he’s probably not thinking too clearly, and is blaming Jack or something.

alright now… lets see…
Frankie trys to give Jack a hand while Jack tries to look at the whole situation with a CRITICAL(well, at least critical in the medical sense) EYE

OK, wait. If Frank thinks this is Jack’s fault, why did he ask for help when he first started transforming?
